The eastern brown snake (Pseudonaja textilis), often referred to as the common brown snake, is a species of venomous elapidsnake of the genus Pseudonaja. This snake is considered the world's second-most venomous land snake. It is native to Australia (of course it is), Papua New Guinea, and Indonesia. It can be aggressive and is responsible for about 60% of snake bite deaths in Australia (again, of course it is).
Whilst the inspiration is deadly by nature, the only thing lethal about the ‘Eastern Brown Snake’ Raw Silk Jacket is its devastating appeal. The earth-toned silks are perfectly juxtaposed against the sky blue silk to create this classic step-weave.
