At 13.5 microns, The Golden Fibre is the world’s finest wool knitwear.

The rare fibre is grown in Australia by Ultrafine Saxon Merinos, who are cared for in a specially-controlled environment to ensure uncompromising quality. The wool fibre is harvested by master shearers who pay careful attention to ensure fibre length is maximised. Once shearing is complete, the finest parts of the fleece are then hand-selected by a highly-qualified wool classer who specialises in ultrafine wool preparation.

The Golden Fibre is then sent to Italy for processing where it is spun by the most skilful craftsmen, using a method of preparation that has been developed over several years to ensure The Golden Fibre garments are knitted and finished at an unsurpassed level of quality.
