Description
The Three Sisters is a rock formation in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales, Australia, on the north escarpment of the Jamison Valley. Their names are Meehni (922 m), Wimlah (918 m), and Gunnedoo (906 m). From nearby Echo Point, a bushwalking trail leads to the Three Sisters and down to the valley floor via more than 800 well-maintained steel and stone steps called "The Giant Stairway".
With such magnificent beauty on our doorstep in Sydney, it is hard to ignore. The 'Three Sisters Giant Stairway' Raw Silk Jacket is directly inspired by the colours of the rock formations in the afternoon light, and the structure of The Giant Stairway. The warm stone-coloured silk is interwoven with the black and dark mauve in a stepweave pattern. Diverse in its appeal, this jacket will transition easily from style to style.
