Description
Part of South Australia’s Limestone Coast, the Coonawarra wine region lies 380 km south of the state’s capital, Adelaide. While vineyards were planted as early as 1890, the 20th Century viticultural realisation of the regions’ famed terra rossa soils developed the region from a lesser know maker of fortified wines, to the producer of Australia’s most prized Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Joe Bananas signature paperbark weave, which runs vertically over the jacket, is reminiscent of the rows of vines that cover the famed region. The deep ruby hue with a tint of walnut speaks of the Cabernet grapes affinity with Oak Casks, in which Coonawarra Cabernet is matured. This distinguished jacket is best enjoyed with the company of good friends, food and wine.
